Latin 16-beat Pop

There are lots of interlocking rhythms in this very up-tempo style. The bass drum and snare drum parts definitely have a 16th-note feel, (try tapping it) especially when they are combined with the repeated cowbell pattern and the bongo parts (heard on the sound clip):

 
The bass part seems independent of the drums, but the polyrhythms that are created by all these different syncopated patterns are very characteristic:
